We had a great day at Kim and Chris' wedding on Saturday! Sunshine like you wouldn't believe for the pictures, and everyone we met were so MUCH FUN! What a great wedding party! Although, I'm not sure we would be let back into the Royal Botanical Gardens. Apparently some of the statues aren't meant to be ridden. Go figure! Kim and Chris have such amazing families and friends too. You could feel so much love through the whole day. It truly was a pleasure to photograph their day.
Let's see some images!

And come back soon for the wedding slideshow!
Okay, now let's see some more images!
The beautiful bride Kim at the salon. She is so awesome!
Here is Kirstin, a junior bridesmaid. We think she had the world record for number of curling thingys in her hair. And no, for those of you who are wondering, I don't know what they are officially called! I was going to say curling irons, but that's not right. Anyone know?
And the sweetest little flower girl Sammy! Look at those eyes...wow!
And here is my new friend Karen and I. As you can see, this wedding is going to be fun!
Laughing away!
The bride and flower girl's hair are ready. Sammy was soooo excited that she got to dress up like a princess. She even got to wear a tiara!
I absoloutly love this picture, because of the meaning behind the rings. When Kim and Chris came to meet with me a few weeks ago, she asked that I get a shot of the rings, and told me about them.
One is Chris' wedding ring. One is Kim's wedding ring. One is Kim's engagement ring. And the last one (at the bottom of the image) is the ring that her grandfather passed on to her. They were very close when Kim was young, and when he died, she was given his ring. She wore it for the whole wedding day. I'm absolutely sure that he was watching her today.
Kim's gorgeous dress.
Kim opted for comfort in her choice of wedding shoes. What a great idea!
Karen getting some final touches.
I love this picture. Sammy has just come down the stairs positively BEAMING! She came into the kitchen to show her daddy. Look at her face! Sooo happy!
And dad took her for a little twirl!
Kirstin and I had a funny face thing going for most of the day.
Kim is now ready. On to the church!
But not without some more pictures of course!
Now, at the ceremony. Kim's parent's walked her down the aisle.
It's official and sealed with a kiss!
The super wedding party!
Kim and Chris steeling a kiss.
And everyone is shocked! Chris - she's a married woman man! Oh, wait, you married her...right!
Pretty pretty pretty!
And sometimes a little sassy!
Chris thought he was fast,
but they caught him eventually...
Oh, this poor metal stork...
This is the 'gangsta wedding' shot.
So happy together....
Lot's of laughs today!
Well, that's it for now, with lots more to come. Visit soon and don't forget to register here to view the rest of the images.
Congratulations Kim and Chris! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your special day! See you soon!

Do not try this at home...
This is what happens when you try to break dance while still holding on to your drink. He is actually in the middle of a spin right now, and 1/2 a second later his drink went flying across the dance floor. Please do not try this at home, this man is a professional.

School BBQ
Yesterday was the kids welcome back to school / meet the teachers BBQ. I got to have a tour of their new classrooms and enjoy some fine hot dogs too! School sure seems more fun then I remember it was...
Matthew showed us this tree he planted when he was in grade one. It's growing really well! It's bigger then him now!
Sydney has her own mail box in her classroom.
Matt's desk design. I think its so cool that he has e=mc2 in the 'A'.
Sweet lock!
Sydney and George.
Yo yo yo dad! Whas up!
Arrrrggg!
Silly boy....
Close up!
Sydney will now be your teacher for the rest of the day.
What a sweet looking student!
We headed over to the gym for hotdogs. Sydney and her friend here were seeing how long they could hop on one foot.
And we had to take a few of this little cutie!
Awwww.....two seconds after this shot her older brother came really close and shouted Boo! Tears did follow, but she was okay in a few minutes.
Time to play outside. Syd decided it would be fun to chase me around a little.
To the playground!
Leading the way!
"Hey dad, let's play that game where we try and kick you!"
Sure Syd, sounds like fun for me....
Matthew going higher and higher.
Some fun with photoshop!
Hee hee...for all who are interested, this is what happens when you use a wide angled lens and your son is a foot behind you, and you don't look into the camera when you take the picture. This shot really cracks me up....
And one last fun one.
And remember:
Family time = fun time!
