Okay, as I just wrote that title I realize that some of you may be thinking that this post will be about my amazing wife Amanda. Well, it's not. I do know that Amanda agrees with what I think on this matter, so I probably should have titled it "We love this woman!", but I digress.
Over the past few months we've got to know Angelique (she is the one in wearing red in the photo above) better and better. She is an incredibly giving person, who is also brilliant, wise and caring. She is also one of the best wedding planners Canada has ever seen. Her tv show "Rich Bride, Poor Bride" is becoming hugely successful, and has recently started airing in the USA, which will only make more people aware of her talents.
If anyone is considering using her for their wedding, all I can say is BOOK HER ASAP! She is getting calls from all over North America, and as people start to learn more about her, she is only going to get busier.
I'm going to be talking about Angelique more in the coming weeks, because we've got some amazing things we've been talking about happening soon, and we are both excited to share them with all of you.

Always drive safely
I'm stuck in a little motel tonight in Cobourg, Ontario. I was driving back this afternoon from Kingston, when a snow storm hit. They were the large, fluffy snow flakes that stick to your windshield and the road. It was slow moving travel, stop and go traffic where the top speed was about 30 kph. It was so slippery on the highway, people were going off the road all over the place. I saw a total of 5 accidents within about a 20 km distance. At this point, I started thinking about getting off the road and waiting it out.
Then I saw the other side of the highway. There was a huge series of accidents. A transport trailer was 50 feet off the road and sitting by the tree line, two other transport trucks were blocking the centre of the entire highway, and were wrapped around eachother. I've never seen anything like it. A little further down the highway, another truck engine was split in half, and about 5 other trucks, cars and emergency vehicles helping those who were injured. The entire highway was shut down at about 2pm and hasn't opened back up yet.
From my window I can see the on ramp to the highway, where there are two police cars still blocking off the entrance. It's been closed for at least six hours now.
I hope that everyone involved in the accidents are being taken care of, and my thoughts are with them tonight. Please drive carefully.

Do you dare - more to come...
Wow...what a response. We've been getting emails, voice mails, people stopping us at bridal shows asking what is going on with the "Do you dare?" stuff?
We will be unveiling more details this week and are very excited - and we are announcing our contest this week too!
Sign up for our newsletter if you'd like to be first to hear about it. (we are sending out an e-newsletter with the details before we post on the blog).
Talk to everyone soon.

Shaw Festival Brochure is out!
You might be wondering why I am so excited about The Shaw Festival's brochure. Well for one thing, The Shaw puts on excellent productions and should be experienced by all. Another reason is that our images are once again being featured in the brochure and website. Images featuring the region and people enjoying themselves were done by us.
This year we did a couple of extra photoshoots, including working with some of the actors at various restaurants, wineries and even biking downtown. We also enlisted the help of some friends and went on a 'shopping photoshoot' which was such fun. Of course we had to make a stop at the Chocolate Shop!
Here are a few images from the various shoots. Don't forget tickets go on sale soon at the Shaw - get yours before they are all sold out. A big thank you to all the models - you all were wonderful!
